Tajweed Course Entry Requirements
To ensure students receive the right level of instruction, our Tajweed program is structured across progressive stages — each with clear entry criteria based on age, skill level, and familiarity with Quranic recitation. Below is an overview of the prerequisites for each stage:
Minimum Age: 4 years
Requirements: No prior experience needed. This level is ideal for absolute beginners learning Arabic letters and sounds for the first time.
Minimum Age: 8 years
Requirements: Students should be familiar with basic Arabic words from the Quran. This stage builds fluency and confidence in Quranic reading using gradual progression.
Minimum Age: 10 years
Requirements: Must be able to read directly from the Mushaf. Students begin to apply core Tajweed rules and improve their rhythm, pronunciation, and fluency.
Minimum Age: 12 years
